From Nwogha Ndubuisi, Abakaliki
Special Assistant to the Governor of Ebonyi State on Petroleum and Gas, Mr Nnaemeka-John Nwafor, has cautioned against the adulteration of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, warning that the state has zero tolerance for such illegal practice.
Nwafor issued the warning while speaking with journalists during the official flag-off of F&T Freeman Oil and Gas in Abakaliki.
He commended the management of F&T for choosing Ebonyi as a business hub for their investment, while lauding Governor Francis Nwifuru for creating a peaceful and conducive environment that encourages private sector growth.
According to him, government’s sustained efforts in promoting peace, security and investor-friendly policies remain pivotal to the state’s economic development. He urged other investors to take advantage of the governor’s business-friendly disposition to establish ventures in the state.
Earlier at the commissioning, the Chairman of C-Sagas Group and founder of C-Sagas Charity Foundation, Mr Christian Asaga-Nwali, congratulated the Chairman of F&T Freeman Oil and Gas, Chief Sunday Nwambam, describing the milestone as a major boost to private sector investment in Ebonyi.
He stressed that the project represents a significant economic contribution to the state and reflects the untapped business potentials of the region, commending Chief Nwambam’s vision and commitment to development through private enterprise.
The event was graced by stakeholders in the energy sector, business community leaders and representatives of the state government.
