The Zinariya of Lokoja, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has joined dignitaries across Nigeria to celebrate Senator Anthony O. Adefuye on the occasion of his 81st birthday, describing him as a statesman whose life has been defined by integrity, service, and patriotism.
In a goodwill message made available to AljazirahNigeria on Thursday, Dr. Aliyu said: “On this special day, I join your family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating you and the remarkable life you have lived in service to our dear nation.
“Your dedication, wisdom, and statesmanship have left an indelible mark on our political landscape, inspiring generations to believe in the values of integrity, hard work, and patriotism.”
The Kogi Princess praised the former lawmaker’s decades of active participation in Nigeria’s democratic journey, noting that his leadership and contributions have continued to shape public discourse and policy direction.
She added: “As you mark another year of grace and impact, I pray for your continued good health, strength, and divine guidance. May the years ahead bring you even greater accomplishments, peace of mind, and the joy of seeing the seeds you have sown blossom for the benefit of our country and its people.”
Concluding her tribute, Dr. Aliyu wrote: “Happy Birthday, Distinguished Senator. May your light continue to shine bright, and may you always find fulfillment in the legacy you are building.”
Senator Anthony O. Adefuye, a former member of the Nigerian Senate, is widely respected for his legislative work, political courage, and steadfast advocacy for national unity.
