Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Barr. Nyesom Wike has challenged some frontline members of the newly formed African Democratic Congress –ADC Coalition group to come out and show Nigerians their individual scorecard when they were in government.
Wike stated this on Friday during the commissioning of the newly rehabilitated Aguma – Radio Nigeria – New Market Road in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT.
The Minister who was apparently referring to the likes of the Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Senator David Mark, Rotimi Amaechi, Nasir El-rufai and others, advised them to desist from engaging in cheap propaganda, insisting that it would not hold any water.
He said that as part of President Bola Tinubu administration’s achievements in the last two years, FCT Administration has been commissioning one project to the other in the last sixteen days.
“Today make it 16 days we have been commissioning different types of projects, we are showing our scorecard. This time is what we call, operation show your scorecard. God gave you opportunity to be in office to make Nigerians to be happy , but you refused. Now you have left office you are angry, you are saying Nigerians are angry. No! You are angry you want to come back to power, you won’t come back. You will not come back to power.
“In 2023 they said they will support one man whose business has been, from 1999 I am in this party. 2006 I am in this party. 2014 I am in this party. 2019 I am in the other party. Now 2025 I am in another coalition. Dem born you born coalition?!!
“I have said, everybody show your scorecard. When I was a senate president let me show my scorecard. How did I help the people of Benue State? How did I help the people of Otukpo? Is it by flying helicopter to Otukpo?
I was not a governor when I refused some people to bring their successor. 2015 I defeated very powerful governor who wanted his boy to be governor. I defeated him.
2019 super minister borrowing money from China, Bank, everywhere making us to be highly indebted. 2019 DG to Mr. President then, he still couldn’t get 20% for Mr. President I defeated him.
