The Zinariya of Lokoja, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu has congratulated Senator Umar Al-Makura on his appointment at the Chairman of the Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB).
Dr Aliyu, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, described the appointment as well-deserved, adding that, “Without a doubt, this appointment is proof that your dedication, hard work and selfless leadership in public service are rewarding qualities.
“Your understanding of governance, inclusive education, and grassroots development makes you an exceptional fit for this important national assignment. I am confident that under your watch, UBEB will witness a new era of innovation, equity, and growth in Nigeria’s basic education sector.”
Dr Aliyu praised Senator Al-Makura for his notable passion for the development of human capital, which she said has consistently inspired many. “I am assured that you will bring the same energy, wisdom, and integrity to this new role, especially at a time when our country needs to strengthen its educational foundation.
“Once again, congratulations, Distinguished Senator. I wish you great success as you embark on this noble journey to transform basic education in Nigeria,” she said.
