Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Osun State, Reverend Bunmi Jenyo has advocated for peace, love and progress among the people of Ila community, promising that the dualisation of Ila-Orangun road will soon begin.
The commissioner, who was in his country home to celebrate with the Muslim Ummah on the annual Eid-el-Kabir, said mutual love and tolerance are the bedrock of transformational development.
Speaking at the 16th annual Ojude Oba day organised by Ojúde Oba Big Brothers on Saturday, Reverend Jenyo appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke for performing above expectations in the areas of infrastructure, health, education, agriculture, commerce and industry.
He charged the people of Ila-Orangun and its environs to reciprocate the good gestures of the current administration, by supporting a second term of good governance and purposeful leadership anchored by Governor Adeleke.
Jenyo, who congratulated and commended the successful hosting of the 16th anniversary of “Ojude Oba Day” held at the Orangun’s palace, described the event as highly successful and impactful.
Assuring the people that Governor Adeleke has left no stone unturned to dualise Ila-Orangun road, he described Ojude Oba Big Brothers as a sensible and reasonable organisation that is focused on how the community would be great.
The commissioner also emphasized that Governor Adeleke’s leadership in two and half years is a credence to purposeful leadership, strategic governance and a deep commitment to the welfare of the people of Ila-Orangun in particular and Osun State as a whole.
“Governor Adeleke has demonstrated remarkable capacity and determination in restructuring Ila-Orangun and Osun State in general, as he continues charting a clear path for sustainable development, ranging from infrastructural development to educational reforms and improved healthcare services to mention but a few, his administration has already made meaningful difference”, he stated.
He lauded the governor’s fiscal discipline, open-door policy and engagement with the people, noting that inclusivity and transparency are the hallmark of his administration.
Jenyo, who was one of the Fathers of the day, urged citizens to remain optimistic and deeply involved, as the administration continues to roll out its developmental blueprint across the length and breadth of Osun State, day after day.
