Bauchi State government has commenced the distribution of animals for the forthcoming Eid Adha celebration.
This initiative, conducted through the Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management, aims to put a smile on the faces of Muslim communities during the festivities.
The gesture is a testament to government’s commitment to the welfare of citizens, particularly during significant religious celebrations.
Commissioner of Humanitarian and Disaster Management, Hajiya Hajara Wanka stated that the distribution is part of government’s efforts to bring joy and happiness to Muslim communities in the state.
She emphasised that the gesture is a demonstration of government’s care and concern for the well-being of its citizens.
In a remark, the Chairman of the distribution committee and Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Aminu Hammayo, who was represented by Alhaji Hashimu Yakubu pointed out that the initiative also reflects government’s commitment to promote the welfare and well-being of citizens, particularly during significant religious events.
