Benue State governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia has charged the Muslim Ummah to ensure that they spread love, sacrifice, tolerance and unity as preached by the Holy Prophet.
The governor gave the charge in a goodwill message to felicitate the Muslim faithful in Benue State as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, which is a significant spiritual event in the Muslim calendar.
Governor Alia, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, in Makurdi, urged the Muslim faithful to continue to pray and support his administration and that of President Bola Tinubu, as it strives to fulfil its electoral mandate.
While expressing optimism that the state and country would surely overcome its current challenges, the
cleric governor wished the Muslim faithful a Happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
