Dalori Gifts Constituents Over 100m Eid-el-Kabir Welfare Package

APC Deputy National Chairman (North) Hon. (Dr) Ali Dalori  over the  weekend in Maiduguri  distributed food, rams, materials and cash gifts worth over   hundred million Naira to Muslim faithful in select parts of northern Nigeria to mark this year’s  Sallah festival.

Dalori who was seeing distributing  rams and cash gifts  to various muslim groups comprising women, youths and underserved   on  also used the occasion as part of activities to mark his birthday. 

According to a statement issued  on Friday by Dalori’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Hon Yemi Akinbode, Dalori described this year’s Sallah celebration  as a special and unique event in his life. Dalori  who has been  described as one of the greatest grassroots politicians to have come from northern Nigeria, used the occasion to reaffirm his commitment to the welfare and total well-being of the common man. 

The statement read ” Today’s event is a special one for our people in Borno State  in particular, and Nigeria  in general.

 Today is also special for me because this year sallah coincides with my birthday.(Thursday, June, 2024). I am therefore, grateful to Allah for the opportunity  to put smile on the faces of our people and followers. Nothing makes me happy than having an opportunity to help and inspire our grassroots. This is  what God wants us to do, we would not shy away from building the enthusiasm of the common man.

It is with great joy and happiness that  I presents to the good people of Nigeria my token of love and appreciation for their love and support thus far,  on the occasion of this year sallah festivities, and in gratitude to Allah for given me the  opportunity of another year in the service of God and humanity. 

Dalori also  implored the good people of the nineteen northern states   to remain steadfast in the face of the harsh economic challenges facing the critical mass of the people. 

.”Believing in the promises of redemption,  Allah the most beneficient and benevolent has charged us to believe in His redemption of the hardest of time. He said, ” I charged you fellow Nigerians that we should tarry, believing in Allah the most benevolent will rekindle our hope and joy. His redemption in this harsh economy is what we should hold on to in assurance of his relief and joy during the Eid-el-Kabir season”.

 It is yet another opportunity for us to bs  thankful to Allah’s  protection and blessings” the statement added .

The deputy national chairman call on  Muslims to use the first 10 days of Zulhijjah and Eid-el-Kabir period to intensify prayers for sustainable peace and stability in the region as well as the country.

Groups after groups across the north took turn to receive bountiful  cash, food and ram gifts from the APC deputy national chairman. They include,  individuals, orphans and vulnerable groups across the Northern states. as Eid-el-Kabir welfare packages.This is an annual gesture aimed to assist Muslim faithful, especially the APC members and underprivileged families to perform sacrifices and celebrate Eid-el-Kabir festival in a happy mood.

The beneficiaries also include states, local government and ward executives of the party, party elders and prominent persons in the North and former political office holders, such as islamic scholars, youths and women, APC support groups, former local government council chairmen, vice-chairmen, former councillors among many  others.
