Amotekun Recruitment: Screening Exercise Commences March 3

Osun Amotekun Corps has announced that the screening exercise for intending applicants will take place from Monday, March 3, to Wednesday, March 5 at its headquarters at Powerline area, along Ikirun Road, Osogbo.

As part of the recruitment process, a mandatory physical fitness exercise has been scheduled for Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8. 

Selected applicants who successfully passed the first stage of screening will be required to participate in a one kilometre race to assess their physical fitness for the second stage of screening. 

Applicants are required to bring their documents and credentials to Amotekun headquarters.

The necessary documents include local government identification certificate; National Identification Number, NIN; birth certificate; academic certificates/results; relevant credentials such as trade test certificates, driver’s licence, among others.

Additionally, applicants must undergo a medical fitness test at a government-owned hospital and provide the test results to assess their physical readiness.

It would be recalled that Osun Amotekun Corps launched its recruitment exercise on January 25, inviting interested applicants to register on its website.

The registration period spanned three weeks, after which completed application forms were submitted online and physically at the corps headquarters for stamping and numbering.

The corps commander, Dr Adekunle Omoyele assured that the selection process would be merit-based.
