Emir Of Ilorin Assures AbdulRazaq Of Unwavering SupportĀ

Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of Kwara Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has assured his unwavering support for Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq of Kwara.

Sulu-Gambari also commended AbdulRazaq for the honor of naming the newly-constructed Unity flyover bridge in Ilorin after him.

The News Agency of Nigeria ,NAN, reports that the Governor, yesterday, named the bridge after the Emir of Ilorin.

Sulu-Gambari, in a statement made available yesterday in Ilorin by his Spokesman, Malam Abdulazeez Arowona, described the honour as a great gesture.

The Emir promised to continue maintaining his status as an embodiment of peace and social harmony in the nation, and assured AbdulRazaq of his prayers for the success of his administration.

He praised the Governor for his exceptional commitments to the numerous national projects, as the chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum.

ā€œWe are always proud of your performances and we shall not relent in praying for you, your family and the entire members of your cabinet.

ā€œThe honour is not only for me, but for the entire indigenes of the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara at large, who have always found joy and fulfilment in this administration”, the emir said.

Sulu-Gambari, therefore, appealed to the residents to continue to live in harmony, with utmost respect for constituted authorities, in order to witness more growth and development in the state.
