Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Radda, accompanied by former governor Ibrahim Shema, yesterday received the All Progressives Congress, APC, national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in Katsina State.
Ganduje is in Katsina to officially flag off the local government election campaign.
At the airport to receive the national chairman were prominent APC state leadership, which include Deputy Governor Faruk Jobe, state chairman of the APC, Alhaji Sani Aliyu Daura, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and other Matters Ibrahim Kabir Masari, and the state’s three senators – Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, Muntari Dandutse, and Nasiru Sani Zango.
The dignitaries also included former Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika and former Katsina Central senator, Kabir Abdullahi Barkiya.
Subsequently, the party stalwarts proceeded to Ingawa Local Government, venue of the flag-off ceremony.
