Crown Price and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, KSA, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has emerged Global Icon Of The Year, 2024.
After a keen assessment and voting process, Prince Salman was undoubtedly the most deserving amongst other nominees whose performance earned them nomination for the most deserving award which seeks to recognise public office holders, captains of industries and persons in positions of leadership who have used their office to better the lives of ordinary citizens, the downtrodden, women and children, and have remained committed to doing so.
“Your determination towards restoring the pride of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a feat you have achieved within a rather short period of time, has earned you the Global Icon of the Year Award, 2024, by AljazirahNigeria Newspaper and its subsidiaries – Posh TV and Posh Radio 92.3 FM, Abuja,” the award committee said.
On what stood Crown Prince Mohammed out for the award, the committee added: “Your goal of achieving increased diversification economically, socially and culturally, has been a major tool you have used to achieve a nation that is fast becoming the world’s prime destination for education, health, entertainment, business, investments, tourism and more.
“Your commitment to emancipate women, stepping up to ease rules on gender segregation, introducing music and cinema, diversifying the economy, investing in tourism, education, health and strengthening relations with other nations, has transformed into verifiable and laudable projects that everyone can see.
“Under your watch, Saudi Arabia has taken its pride of place as a favourable destination for education, health, tourism, technology, investments, etc, thereby attracting the needed foreign investments that are already helping in your efforts towards diversification of the economy of the KSA.”
According to them, his commitment to restore the honour, pride and dignity of Saudi Arabia is worth commending.
“The purpose of this award is to encourage Prince Salman bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to continue his good work of reforming the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which other countries of the world including our country, Nigeria is also benefiting from.
“We also want him to rest assured that not only is the entire world watching and appreciating his reforms, but that he is unknowingly raising a new crop of determined and committed leaders around the world who would emulate his great works.
