Chief Executive Officer of Cash Token, Lai Lagbode is set to lead as chairman of Africa Fashion Week 2024.
Lagbode took to his Facebook page to announce his new role, expressing readiness to deliver value to amplify Africa’s story through fashion.
According to Lagbode, the fashion galore
which is scheduled to hold from 6 to 8 December, has empowered thousands of African brands.
“I am honored to announce my appointment as Chairman of Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2024! This isn’t just a role-it’s a mission to amplify Africa’s story through fashion, showcasing the rich heritage, creativity, and limitless future of our continent.
“Africa Fashion Week has empowered over 3,000 African brands locally and internationally, and I am beyond excited to work alongside a dedicated team to take our culture to new heights on the global stage.
“Join us December 6-8 at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, for a 3-day celebration of African talent, heritage, and innovation. Let’s make history together as we redefine what it means to wear our culture proudly. This journey isn’t just about fashion; it’s about who we are and where we’re going,” he said.
