A member of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress APC, Tolu Bankole, has praised the party’s recently concluded National Convention, describing it as a model of excellence in political organisation and coordination.

In a statement issued after the event, Bankole said the convention demonstrated the APC’s unity, discipline, and strong organisational capacity, reinforcing its status as a leading political party in Nigeria.

He also expressed gratitude to party leaders and delegates for renewing their confidence in his leadership. Bankole pledged to deepen inclusion within the party, particularly by strengthening the participation of Persons With Disabilities PWDs.

The APC chieftain commended Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership, noting that his direction continues to stabilise and reposition the party for greater achievements. According to him, the President’s role in both governance and party management has been instrumental in maintaining cohesion within the APC.

Bankole further lauded the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, for what he described as exceptional handling of the convention venue. He said the planning, execution, and attention to detail at the venue reflected a high level of competence and dedication.

Aligning with President Tinubu’s earlier commendation of the Ogun State governor, Bankole noted that Abiodun’s efforts in funding and delivering the venue setup contributed significantly to the success of the event. He described the governor as one of the best in event coordination and organisational leadership.

The APC PWDs leader also praised party governors, members of the convention planning committees, national delegates, and other stakeholders for their contributions. He acknowledged the role of engineers, organisers, ushers, and media personnel in ensuring a smooth and seamless exercise.

Congratulating newly elected party officials, Bankole urged them to build on the gains of the convention and strengthen internal cohesion within the APC.

He called on party members across the country to remain committed as they return to their constituencies, emphasising the need for effective mobilisation ahead of future elections. He also stressed the importance of conducting rancour-free primaries, guided by unity, transparency, and fairness.

Bankole reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the interests of Persons With Disabilities within the APC, noting that their inclusion remains vital to national development.
