President Bola Tinubu, has presented Enugu State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kingsley Tochukwu Ude (SAN), to the Senate for confirmation as a minister to replace former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, who resigned recently over alleged certificate forgery.
President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio read Tinubu’s letter on the floor of the Senate, yesterday.
Akpabio, then referred the nomination to the Committee of the Whole for further consideration and subsequent screening.
Nnaji, resigned over controversy trailing his certificate said to be obtained from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu State and his NYSC, discharge certificate.
