Tinubu noted that the governor’s first term recorded notable achievements across several sectors, including infrastructure development, agriculture, youth empowerment, education, healthcare and rural development under the BAO agenda. He described the outcome of the election as a strong endorsement of continuity, stability and people-focused governance by the electorate.
The President advised Governor Oyebanji to remain magnanimous in victory and ensure inclusive governance by carrying all residents of the state along as he begins a new term in office.
He also commended other candidates who participated in the election, stating that they had exercised their democratic rights and should now work together with the governor in advancing the development of Ekiti State.
Tinubu reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to collaborating with the Ekiti State Government in delivering democratic dividends and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.
He concluded by praying for wisdom, strength and good health for Governor Oyebanji as he continues to serve the people of Ekiti State.
