The Executive Director of Solution Social Initiative (SSI), Prophet Efe Cyril Edah, marked his birthday over the weekend with a series of humanitarian interventions, empowering women to boost their small businesses and committing to the long-term education of vulnerable children.
The outreach, held in Port Harcourt, brought together community leaders, faith adherents, and participants from diverse professional backgrounds, reflecting the growing influence of SSI as a faith-based development organization operating as the social arm of Solution Prayer Power Divine Ministry.
As part of activities marking the occasion, several women received empowerment support aimed at strengthening their micro-enterprises and improving household income. Additionally, four children were selected for educational sponsorship, with one secondary school student placed on a full support track through the completion of his secondary education. In contrast, others in primary school will be supported through to the end of their primary education.
Speaking at the event, Prophet Edah who’s also the General Overseer of the Solution Prayer Power Divine Ministry, emphasized the importance of combining faith with practical impact, noting that sustainable development begins with investing in people, particularly women and children.
“True celebration is not in personal comfort but in the lives we can touch. When we empower a woman, we strengthen a family. When we educate a child, we secure the future,” he said.
He further called on Nigerians, especially professionals and community leaders, to embrace responsible growth and contribute meaningfully to national development through moral, social, and spiritual support systems.
The gathering also served as a platform for reflection on nation-building, with attendees encouraged to align their personal success with collective responsibility. Participants described the initiative as timely, particularly in light of the economic challenges facing grassroots communities.
Solution Social Initiative has continued to expand its footprint across Nigeria through programmes focused on women empowerment, youth development, education support, humanitarian outreach, and civic engagement. The organization has also strengthened collaborations with national and international partners, positioning itself as a credible grassroots actor within the development space.
With initiatives such as the recent empowerment programme, SSI is steadily reinforcing its commitment to inclusive development, leveraging strategic partnerships and community-based interventions to improve livelihoods and expand access to opportunities.
As the organization continues to grow, its leadership reaffirmed a commitment to sustaining people-centered programmes that translate compassion into measurable outcomes, ensuring that celebration moments evolve into lasting opportunities for those in need.
