Peller was arrested on Friday July 3 2026, after a confrontation with some policemen who he accused of pointing a gun at him after he was stopped for driving a tinted vehicle.
He was arraigned before the Lagos State Magistrate court on Tuesday for conspiracy to commit felony, conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace, and obstruction of police officers in the discharge of their duties.
The court, however, granted him N500,000 bail among other conditions.Breaking silence after his release, Peller in a post on his Snapchat page, shared what he experienced in police custody
“I didn’t eat or bathe for four days,” Peller revealed to his fans, explaining why he wasn’t ready to show his face on camera immediately. Despite the harsh conditions, his digital fame followed him into the cell. He recounted how fellow inmates quickly recognized him, bringing a brief moment of levity to the grim situation by jokingly crowning him the “001” (leader) of the cell.
