Ogun Gov’s Chief Of Staff Urges Children To Be Hopeful

Chief of Staff to the Ogun State governor, Dr Oluwatoyin Taiwo, has urged Children of Stella Obasanjo Home in Abeokuta, the state capital, to be hopeful for a brighter future.

Taiwo stated this when he visited the home as part of activities marking his birthday celebration, stressing that with determination and consistency, they could become what they dreamt to be in the future.

He specifically admonished them not to worried about not having parents to cater for them like other children, insisting that if they do not give up on their dreams, they could become anything they want in life.

The cHief of staff thanked Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration for giving the children, through its support and commitment, the opportunity to thrive in life, charging them to always stay focused and disciplined.

He also appreciated Abiodun for providing him the platform to serve the people of the state by appointing him first, as the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff respectively.

He assured the children that they would not be abandoned as the current government would continue to make their welfare a priority, affirming that celebrating his birthday with them had become his tradition for many years.

Highlight of the visit was the presentation of food stuffs and cash to the children.

Similarly, the management and entire staff of the office of the chief of staff also repeated the visit to the children home with more food stuffs. 

Presenting the food items, the Director, Mr Kehinde Olugbedu, who represented the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Governor, Mr Hamed Ojo, said the spirit behind the donation of the food stuff was to show that the children are always remembered.
