A clarion call has been made to a philanthropist, legal icon, Muhammed Ndarani, SAN, to contest for the 2027 senatorial seat of zone A Niger State.
The legal luminary, who has been an active member of the ruling APC for years has extended his humanitarian gestures to the good people of zone A in various capacities.
Delivering a speech at a forum organised by the critical stakeholders in the zone, the convener of the meeting, President General of CAGRA and National Chairman Nupe-defo, Engr Muhammadu Dagaci, Zarumi Agaie, stressed that credible governance can only be achieved when citizens actively participate in building consensus and work collectively towards shared goals.
Also, during the meeting some groups, such as the Supreme Support for Good Governance ,SSGG, led by its coordinator, Mohammed Mahmud Etsu and Ndarani Advocacy Movement, NAM, presented letters requesting,Barr Ndarani to contest for senate, Niger South in 2027,saying this is the best times for one of Nigeria’s finest legal icons to contribute generously to the people of zone A.
In view of of the intense pressure and calls from various associations, groups, individuals, associates and many residents of Niger state, particularly those in local governments of Niger South Senatorial districts for him to declare his intention,the Barrister have no option to join the senatorial race come 2027.
“As it is in the zone and the pressure is getting unbearable we the concern groups that needs the services of Ndarani will continue to mount pressure on him to indicate interest in joining the Niger South senatorial race”.
“This is because over the years, Ndarani, has demonstrated immense care and love for people of his senatorial district,adding that ,his magnanimity is very glaring his affection has touched virtually every ward of the Zone”, the groups re-emphasized.
“We will not back out.untill he has accepted our Clarion call,so far he has been showing up and standing with us in times of need and distress his type is hardly notice in the society,”that’s why we need his services at the National level”,Engr Muhammadu Dagaci stated.
According to him, the current pressure was as a result of the good Ndarani has put in place and has never goes unnoticed by the universe.which will be return to him unexpected,a sense of peace and fulfillment of good deeds of Ndarani is to be returned to him.
“Sir, we have done our research on your life’s journey, your remarkable record of academic excellence and professional achievements as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) has convinced us to support your aspiration for Senate”
According to the groups: “We have noticed that your personal attributes -humility, empathy, philanthropy and exceptional communication skills, makes you a unifying force to drive meaningful progress in our district, that’s why we. need your vision, passion and expertise in the senate to elevate Niger South Senatorial District to new heights”.
“The Niger Youth Coalition Groups will be responsible for the purchase of necessary forms for the proposed candidacy,this is driven at ensuring transparency and accountability,as we believe your grassroot engagements, experience, and international engagements .
“Finally we have this to say in Latin,adage- vox populi,vox Dei, meaning the voice of people voice of God”.
Barrister Ndarani is a traditional tittle holder of the Etsu Nupe’s Emirate council Bida, he was coronated as Hukunci Nupe, Hukunci Kasan Hausa, and popularly known as ‘SAN kin Nupe’.
