A group known as Ability Leads, from Zone B of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Niger State, has collectively purchased nomination form for Yahaya Ability to contest for the state PDP Chairman in the forth coming Congress holding on September 27, 2025.
Yahaya Ability who is the current Chairman of Zone B of the party.has been very proactive in the affairs of the party giving the ruling party APC sleepless nights as a strong opposition.
At the PDP secretariat on Wednesday in MINNA after the purchase of the Nomination form,the team leader of Ability Leads Organization, Danladi Adamu Tanbaya,,said the purchase of the nomination form for Hon Yahaya Ability is born out of their love, oneness and Unify in the Zone.
“We have wholeheartedly agreed to give him our full support and solidarity to elect him as our next state Chairman of the people’s Democratic party PDP, due to the trust and confidence reposed in his capacity to lead PDP to actualise the struggle come 2027.
According to the team leader, Yahaya Ability is noticed as the only voice that can truly salvage the party in the 2027 election,”meaning that, we have settled for the forthcoming congress on September 7, 2025″.
“Today Wednesday August 2025 at the party secretariat we are here with all the Zone B PDP Local government Chairmen as a united front,affirming that his ambition is a collective hope of the party which is very overwhelming”.
According to the team leader Endorsement of Hon,Yahaya Ability to become the state PDP Chairman is to ignite a new spirit of unity, progress, and restoration in the PDP of Niger State.
Speaking on behalf of the PDP Chairmen in the Zone,the PDP Chairman of Suleja local government,Alh Abdullahi King said Yahaya Ability was nominated because of his pedigree so far in the affairs of the party.
Speaking in a telephone interview with Aljazirah, Yahaya Ability said before now he has made thorough consultations with PDP critical stakeholders in the state,professor Jerry Gana, former Niger State governor, Muazu Babangida Aliyu, former Senators and house Rep members, and former speakers of state house of assembly.
Yahaya, however explained his reasons to contest is to bring back the lost glory of the party by bringing the aggrieved members together and most importantly create awareness on the public on the lack of trust by APC government.
