Kwara Health Tech Holds 50th Matriculation Ceremony

Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, held its 50th matriculation for the 2025/2026 academic session, with a charge to the new students to embrace the solemn responsibilities of their chosen path. 

Speaking at the ceremony, the Provost, Elder Ayanshola Benjamin emphasised the institution’s core expectations, which include dedication to academic pursuit, integrity of character and strict adherence to institutional values.

The provost cautioned students against all forms of social vices, including cultism and examination malpractice, which compromise moral and professional standards.

Highlighting the institution’s commitment to students success, Benjamin affirmed that the college’s faculty is deeply invested in mentoring and guiding each student towards becoming a competent and compassionate healthcare professional.

The provost described the golden jubilee matriculation as a testament to the institution’s enduring commitment to academic excellence. 

“For 50 years, this institution has produced skilled graduates who have made significant contributions to healthcare delivery and national development,” he said.

The provost expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his pivotal role in advancing the college and also appreciated the continued support of the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Sa’adatu Kawu, while acknowledging the steadfast cooperation of the college’s governing council, as well as the academic and non-academic staff of the college.
