It’s Time To Close Ranks, Unite for Victory, Hon. Aliyu Says After Securing APC Reps Ticket

Hon. Nazeef Babaji Aliyu Esq. has emerged the flag bearer for All Progressives Congress (APC) in Shira/Giade Federal Constituency of Bauchi state, moving closer to his dream of representing his people at the House of Representatives.

In a direct primary election, he polled 14,022 votes to defeat his sole challenger, Kali Abubakar Fago who secured 2,076 votes.

In a vote of thanks, Hon. Aliyu thanked his constituents for standing by him and supporting him throughout the primary election, noting that time to build the bridge of unity ahead of the general election has come.

“Our focus now should be on peace, unity, and working together so that the larger victory ahead and the development of our constituency can be achieved.

“I urge all youths and the good people who supported me and worked tirelessly for the progress of Shira/Giade Federal Constituency to remain patient, united, and steadfast”, he said in Hausa in a social media post.

Known for his deep intellectual capacity as a legal practitioner, Hon. Aliyu is seen as a grassroot politician who has a record of bridging the gap between governance and the common man through extensive humanitarian services that have become legendary across his constituency and state in general.

He has impacted the lives of his people through his empowerment programmes, strategic interventions in local security, and other outreaches that focus on welfare of the vulnerable, and improved living standards, earning him through love among the constituents.

He thanked members of his party for the orderly manner they conducted themselves throughout the primary election, expressing hope that his victory will usher an era ofore effective representation in the federal constituency.
