Intending FCT Pilgrims to the 2026 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia have been given up to 1st of December, 2025 as deadline to make their payment for the spiritual trip.
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer, FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Muhammad Lawal Aliyu on Monday, urging intending pilgrims who wish to perform the spiritual exercise through the Board to complete the payment before the deadline.
The Spokesperson explained that all payment to the Board must be via a bank draft as no cash transaction would be entertained.
He said all payments for the Hajj exercise are to be concluded before the deadline to enable the Board compile the actual list of Intending Pilgrims for the exercise this year and to remit all funds to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) on scheduled.
He stated that the Board has initiated negotiations with service providers in Saudi Arabia for the provision of Feeding and a befitting accommodation in Makkah during the 2026 Hajj.
He concluded by saying the negotiation is inline with the desire of the Board to render the best services to FCT contingent to each Hajj in accordance with the desire of the present Administration.
