Grassroots Advocacy For Tinubu Names Chief Jim Okolo Patron

Grassroots Advocacy for Tinubu, GAT, has named Chief Jim Okolo as its Patron as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilization and expand its national support base.

The recognition followed a courtesy visit by the leadership of the group led by its National Coordinator, Prof. Ochudugu Achoda Ipuele, to Chief Okolo, according to a statement by GAT’s Director of media, Favour Robinson, on Wednesday.

During the visit, the National Coordinator formally decorated Chief Okolo as Patron of the organisation in recognition of what the group described as his leadership qualities and commitment to national development.

Prof. Ipuele said, “In its continued effort to strengthen grassroots mobilization and expand its national support base, the leadership of Grassroots Advocacy for Tinubu, led by the National Coordinator Prof. Ochudugu Achoda Ipuele, paid a strategic courtesy visit to Chief Jim Okolo.”

The statement added, “During the visit, the National Coordinator formally decorated Chief Jim Okolo as a Patron of Grassroots Advocacy for Tinubu in recognition of his leadership qualities, commitment to national development, and support for progressive political engagement at the grassroots level.”

Responding, Chief Okolo expressed appreciation to the organisation for the honour and pledged his support to its activities.

Okolo said, “I warmly received the delegation and express profound appreciation for the honour bestowed upon me. I describe the recognition as a great privilege and assure the organization of my support in advancing its vision and strengthening grassroots advocacy.”

The visit ended in a cordial atmosphere with members of the delegation and their host taking group photographs to commemorate the occasion.
