Gov Okpebholo Appoints Omo-Ojo GM Of Nigerian Observer

Edo State governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has appointed a former Commissioner, Orobosa Omo-Ojo, as the General Manager of Bendel Newspaper Corporation Limited, publisher of the Nigerian Observer.

According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government,SSG, Umar  Ikhilor, the appointments takes effect from October 27.

AljazirahNigeria recalls that this is the second time that Omo-Ojo is being appointed to manage the state owned newspaper.

Omo- Ojo is the Publisher of  Midwest Herald Newspaper published in Benin City.

The governor also appointed the following individuals as Special Advisers: John Osagie Inegbedion – Tax Reforms, Johnson Jibril Adamu – Humanitarian Affairs & Poverty Alleviation, Shuaibu Elamah – Law Reforms, Dr Aminu Ibrahim Imafidor – Livestock, Aquaculture & Agro-Processing, Omorede O. E. Osifo – Women Mobilization. 

Others are Esther Eghaghe – Women Mobilization (Edo Central), Vera Omonkhafe Sadoh – Women Mobilization (Edo North), Mrs Itohan Osahon – Women Mobilization (Edo South) and Anslem Adima – Local Government & Chieftaincy Affairs. 

The statement emphasized that the new appointments reflect Governor Okpebholo’s commitment to inclusive governance and equitable regional representation.
