Gov Namadi Appoints Members Of Jigawa Civil Service Commission, Urges Productivity

Governor Namadi has approved the appointment of Babandi Saleh as Permanent Member II of the Jigawa State Civil Service Commission.

This announcement was made in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Malam Bala Ibrahim.

In addition, the governor approved the appointment of Ibrahim Adamu Fagam as Permanent Member III of the commission.

The statement revealed that the elevation of Bare from Permanent Member II to Permanent Member I  has also been approved by the governor.

The SSG stated that the appointments of Saleh and Fagam followed their screening and confirmation by the Jigawa State House of Assembly during its sitting No. 031 on Tuesday, August 19, equivalent to 24th Safar, 1447AH.

The state government said the appointments have been made based on merit, competence, and personal integrity.

“I urge the new appointees to discharge their duties diligently in accordance with the laid down procedures establishing the Commission,” the SSG emphasized, clarifying that all appointments take immediate effect.
