Benue State Governor Reverend Father,Hyacinth Alia has approved the appointment of a five member Interim Management Committee for Lobi Stars Football club.
According to a statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula yesterday in Makurdi, said the committee will oversee the affairs of the club pending a comprehensive restructuring.
The governor gave names of the Interim Management Committee to include: Terver Ikya as Chairman,Uja Emmanuel,Media Director,Harry Yachi, Technical Director,Terzungwe Chugh, Admin/Board Secretary (Ministry of Sports) with
Owocho Adejoh Ogiri serving as Member respectively.
He charged the committee to ensure the immediate registration of the club for the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) football season.
The governor equally urged the members to work together to achieve success and ensure the club’s return to top-flight football.
He also warned members of the team against distractions, emphasizing the need for unity and focus in reviving the club.
