In what could be described as a passion for the welfare of his constituency, Hon Jibrin Ndagi Babbah representing Lavun Local Government Area, in the Niger State House of Assembly,has once again delivered dividends of democracy to his people.
Jibrin Ndagi Babbah who was the Deputy Speaker in the 9th Assembly at the Niger State House of Assembly, said his priorities is to make people of his constituencies of all the 12 wards to fill the presence of governance and in every units.
The recent one was the purchase and installation of electric poles at Gbangbagi community of Lavun Local Government Area, in fulfilment of his promises during his on the spot assessment visits to the community first week of January 2025.
In a statement by one of his Media Aids,Hassan Babbah said the former Deputy Speaker have so far impacted meaningfully on the wellbeing of the people of his constituency and have covered more than half of the wards in the local government.
According to him such projects includes the provision of portable drinking water through drilling of boreholes, installation of water tanks, electrification projects to encourage cottage industries.
Speaking on a cell phone interview, honourable Ndagi Babbah said as an experience member and former Deputy Speaker, “I have the knowledge of every wards and units in my local government areas,most importantly I relates frequently with the stake holders to feel the pulse of every community”.
” If not for the scarce resources my priority is to put in place two major projects in each ward and units as part of our oversight functions in line with Farmer Governor Umar Bago’s new Niger agenda,he however commended Governor Umar Bago for giving them enabling environment to reach out to their constituencies”.
While expressing their appreciation the youth leader of Gbangbagi community,and former councillor,Mr Job Zhirin described the member as a complete gentleman representing the good people of Lavun in the state house of assembly, he however admonish other elected officials to emulate the good gesture of former Deputy speaker by fulfilling their campaign promises.
” What remain now is to light up the village by reactivating the 300 kv transformer or be replaced with serviceable one to boost economic viability of the community,Job reiterated”.
