EFCC Arrests Okowa Over Alleged N1.3trn Fraud
Former governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over alleged diversion of N1.3 trillion.
AljazirahNigeria gathered that Okowa yesterday honoured an invitation at the EFCC office in Port Harcourt, Rivers State and was detained.
It would be recalled that the former Delta State Governor was the running mate to Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, 2023 presidential election candidate and ex-Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar
