From Owen Akenzua, Asaba
Workers in the Delta State Civil Service have been advised to always maintain self-discipline so as to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
Commissioner of the Bureau for Special Duties, Ejiro Etacherure gave the advice when he hosted members of staff of the bureau in his office in Asaba.
Etacherure noted that the essence of the meeting was to enforce discipline and ensure that those who work in the bureau are at their desk and dedicated to their duties.
Commending them for resuming early this year, Etacherure encouraged them to improve on their work and selves by adding value to themselves.
He encouraged them to share knowledge by keeping communication open as this would indicate their support for him to succeed.
Appreciating the commissioner, Permanent Secretary of the bureau, Prince Gregory Ejohwomu promised that all hands would be on deck, as each department had been advised to submit a work plan for the year’s activities.
