A former Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has called on Nigerian youths to take the lead in dismantling the entrenched culture of corruption, describing it as the single greatest threat to the nation’s progress.
The summit organised under the theme “Rebuilding and Consolidating Nigeria’s Steel Industry: Collaborative Action for Sustainable Growth and Global Competitiveness", was convened to chart a roadmap for revitalising the nation’s steel sector, which remains heavily reliant on imports despite Nigeria’s abundant iron ore, limestone, and coal deposits.
Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority ,NMDPRA, has reported a significant decline in fuel consumption for June 2025, with total fuel evacuation falling to 1.44 billion litres.
