Delta State Chairman, African Democratic Congress, ADC,  Engr Austine Okolie,  has warned  members against anti-party activities  in the 25 Local Government Coalition Committees across the three senatorial districts, assuring that the party will defeat President Bola Tinubu come 2027.

The chairman spoke to journalists at  the inaugural ceremony of the coalition committees in the three senatorial districts headquarters: Asaba in Delta North, Ughelli in Delta Central and Wàrri in Delta South.

The three ADC vice chairmen urged members to put in their best in mobilising their followers to join the Nigeria Rescue Mission of the ADC, emphasizing that the nation is in urgent need of total liberation and good governance at all levels. Addressing the gathering in Asaba, Okolie charged the inaugurated coalition members to remain dedicated to the cause of building a new Nigeria.

He encouraged everyone to register and secure their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, stressing that no meaningful political goal can be achieved without it.

Engr Okolie  reminded members that  ADC’s symbol—the Handshake—represents unity, trust and a brand-new Nigeria of our dreams. He warned that the party would not condone indiscipline or any act of anti-party, urging them to return to their wards and function as true crusaders of  ADC’s vision.

He  emphasized that positions within the party are earned through hard work and commitment at the grassroots, not through desperation or propaganda, and encouraged all members to focus on contributing positively to the growth of the party, assuring them of equal opportunities.

The chairman stated that: “African Democratic Congress  remains steadfast in its resolve to provide an alternative route for Nigeria’s political transformation and good governance”.

The  inauguration was carried out by the three senatorial vice chairmen: Mrs Chiwe Ejidoh (Delta North), Obus Doughor (Delta Central) and Apostle Amos Peremene (Delta South).

The vice chairmen in their separate speeches, welcomed the coalition members drawn from diverse political blocs, including the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, All Progressives Congress, APC, the ‘Obidient Movement,’ and the Buhari Support Organisation.

They urged members to put in their best efforts towards mobilising their followers to join the Nigeria Rescue Mission of the ADC, emphasizing that the nation is in urgent need of total liberation and good governance at all levels.
