Senator Olajide Ipinsagba, representing Ondo North Senatorial District, has commended the exemplary leadership and political wisdom demonstrated by President Bola Tinubu during the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination process, describing it as a clear reflection of the President’s commitment to democracy, fairness, and party unity.
In a statement made available to journalists, Senator Ipinsagba on Wednesday expressed deep appreciation to President Tinubu for providing purposeful leadership that continues to strengthen democratic values within the APC and inspire confidence among party members nationwide.
The lawmaker also extended his gratitude to APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) for ensuring a transparent, credible, and inclusive process that reflected the collective will of party stakeholders and reinforced trust in the party’s internal democratic structure.
Senator Ipinsagba further acknowledged the unwavering support and encouragement he received from the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, whose steadfast commitment to the unity and progress of the APC, as well as the development of Ondo State, remains commendable.
He equally appreciated party leaders, delegates, political associates, grassroots mobilisers, youths, women, and thousands of supporters across the six local government areas of Ondo North Senatorial District for their loyalty, prayers, and confidence in his leadership.
According to the senator, the overwhelming support shown throughout the primary process has further strengthened his resolve to continue delivering quality representation, championing people-oriented legislation, and attracting impactful developmental projects to the district.
Senator Ipinsagba stressed that the outcome of the primary should serve as a rallying point for all APC members, urging party faithful to close ranks, embrace reconciliation, and work collectively toward securing greater victories for the party in future elections.
He noted that unity remains the strongest pillar for sustaining the APC’s electoral success and ensuring the delivery of democratic dividends to the people.
The senator reaffirmed his commitment to remaining accessible to his constituents and advancing policies and programmes aimed at accelerating socio-economic development, improving infrastructure, empowering youths and women, and enhancing the overall welfare of the people of Ondo North.
He concluded by calling on all stakeholders to remain steadfast in supporting President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing confidence that the administration will continue to implement policies that promote national development, economic prosperity, and lasting peace across Nigeria.
