Former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has unveiled his newly published book, One Thousand and Ninety-Five Days… and Counting: Communicating the Strides of a Reformer-in-Chief, highlighting the reform initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Dare presented a copy of the book to President Bola Tinubu and shared the development on his official Facebook page on Sunday, describing the presentation as a privilege.

According to Dare, the book chronicles key policy interventions and structural reforms undertaken by the Tinubu administration over a three-year period, which he believes have positioned Nigeria on the path to economic recovery and national transformation.

The former minister, who now serves as Special Adviser to the President on Communication and Publicity, described Tinubu as “the Reformer-in-Chief” and credited him with driving bold reforms aimed at reshaping Nigeria’s economic and governance landscape.

In excerpts shared from the book, Dare portrayed Tinubu as a resilient leader who has consistently navigated complex political and economic challenges.

“Over the course of these one thousand and ninety-five days, Nigerians have witnessed an administration pursuing structural reforms that previous governments either hesitated to confront or approached incrementally,” the book stated.

He acknowledged that the reforms have generated public debate and concerns, particularly due to the economic hardship associated with the transition, but maintained that they represent necessary decisions for long-term national growth.

The book comes amid ongoing discussions around major reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration, including fuel subsidy removal, foreign exchange unification, tax reform proposals, and efforts to attract investment and stabilize the economy.

Dare’s publication underscores his continued engagement in public policy and political communication while offering his perspective on the administration’s reform agenda and its impact on Nigeria.
