Niger: Beware Of Moneybags During Electioneering  – Kpautagi

‎Governorship candidate of African Democratic congress, ADC, in Niger State, Dr Mohammed Kpautagi has once again assured the people of the state that he would continue to explore various ways to inculcate in them his commitment and sincerity of his governorship ambition.

Kpautagi stated this at his residence in Abuja while  receiving groups of youths and women who paid him a visit to congratulate him on his victory as the governorship candidate of ADC in Niger State.

 He appreciated the visitors particularly the youths and women who he described as key to the emergence of any politician aspiring for any position  in any political party and advised them to be resolute in ensuring that all ADC candidates continue to rise and shine in every nook and cranny of the state.

The Governorship candidate urged them to be vigilant during and after electioneering campaigns and not to be tempted by money bag politicians who may like to force themselves on them despite numerous present predicament confronting Nigerians.

According to him “what Nigerians are passing through at this moment is a deliberate attempt by corrupt politicians who want to have everything to themselves, adding that politics should not be skewed to a particular political party but should be left for fair play where justice will prevail.

Kpautagi urged them to wake up from slumber by inculcating in the minds of the public to correct some anomalies of  this present administration that has become a cog in the wheel of  progress of democracy.

Everyone of you knows that as a senior retired federal civil servant, I have the knowledge of how to go about your needs, particularly pensioners, empowerment of women and youth with special attention on widows, infrastructural development, and give full support to farmers, if elected come 2027.

 “I thank you once again for the support you gave me to scale through the primary election, I promised to be committed to your challenges, I am optimistic that with your support, 2027 shall be a new dawn for the rise and shine of compatriots”, Kpautagi emphasised.

Earlier, Mrs Naomi  Jiya and Hajiya Adisatu Usman, who spoke on behalf of the groups  acknowledged  Kpautagi’s impact in bringing the ADC into high level of recognition in the state, but also advise him to focus more on foot soldiers and associates committed to the struggle for soft landing during the 2027 polls.
