FCT CP Inspects Security At JAMB CBT Centres

Federal Capital Territory,  FCT, Commissioner of Police, Mr Ahmed Sanusi yesterday inspected security deployments at selected Computer-Based Test, CBT, centres of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, in Abuja.

This was was made known in a statement by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh. 

The statement informed that the exercise was part of proactive security measures for the ongoing examinations, aimed at ensuring the smooth, peaceful, and hitch-free conduct of the examinations scheduled to hold between April 16 and 18.

According to Adeh, during the inspection, the Police Commissioner assessed security arrangements put in place to protect candidates, examination officials, and facilities.

She added that he also interacted with centre supervisors, assuring them of adequate security presence throughout the period and reaffirming the command’s commitment to maintaining law and order.

The police spokesperson said the CP warned that any attempt to disrupt the examination process would be met with decisive action in accordance with the law.

She further reiterated the command’s commitment to the protection of lives and property and urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities through designated emergency lines, 08032003193 or 08061581938.
