Former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Hajia Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has commended the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the successful conduct of its North Central Zonal Congress in Nasarawa State, describing it as a reflection of unity and organisational strength within the party.
She noted that the congress, which recorded full participation from delegates across the seven states of the North Central and the FCT, was peaceful, transparent, and well-coordinated, further reinforcing confidence in the party’s internal democratic process.
Aliyu also lauded the party’s leadership for ensuring a seamless exercise, adding that the outcome of the congress has strengthened cohesion among stakeholders and positioned the APC for greater political stability in the region.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the leadership and faithful of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, on the successful conclusion of the North Central Zonal Congress in Nasarawa State.
“The orderly and widely attended exercise, with delegates drawn from all seven states of the zone and the FCT, clearly demonstrates the cohesion, discipline, and growing strength of the APC in the region,” she said.
She further commended the Chairman of the Zonal Congress Committee, Hon. Funsho Olumoko, for his role in ensuring a smooth and rancour-free process, describing his leadership as instrumental to the success recorded.
“I wish to specially recognise the Chairman of the Zonal Congress Committee, Hon. Funsho Olumoko, whose diligence and effective coordination ensured a smooth, transparent, and conflict-free process,” she stated.
Aliyu also praised governors in the region, particularly Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, for their commitment to strengthening the party, noting that the success of the congress underscores a renewed resolve to deepen unity and deliver good governance across the North Central and the country at large.
