De Norsemen Kclub International (DNKI), under the leadership of its International President, Chief Oliver Patrick, has issued a strong warning to the general public, security agencies, and key stakeholders over the increasing wave of fraudulent social media activities falsely linked to the organization.
The group in a statement signed by DNKI International Publicity, Mr. Anugom Darlington
on Tuesday in Abuja, revealed that faceless individuals and coordinated networks are impersonating DNKI online, misrepresenting its identity, and spreading false narratives capable of threatening public peace and national security.
“Pattern of Criminal Misinformation
According to DNKI, findings from internal investigations point to a deliberate and organized campaign aimed at damaging its reputation through several unlawful actions, including: Identity Theft and Brand Manipulation: Unauthorized use and distortion of DNKI’s registered name, logo, and insignia to falsely associate the organization with cultism and other criminal activities, while ignoring its longstanding humanitarian contributions.
“Deception and Youth Manipulation: Efforts to mislead young people into believing that criminal or cult-related activities are part of humanitarian service—an assertion DNKI firmly rejects.
“False Security Narratives: Circulation of fabricated crime reports intended to create fear, misinform the public, and weaken confidence in Nigeria’s security institutions.
Incitement and Digital Provocation: Promotion of online tensions through inflammatory content, false claims, and staged narratives designed to trigger real-world unrest and violence.
While giving Organization Clear Position on Cultiism, DNKI categorically distanced itself from any form of cultism or illegal association, stressing that it operates under strict guidelines. The organization noted that its membership requirements include a minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree, alongside verifiable means of livelihood, underscoring its commitment to professionalism and discipline.
Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC Reg: TC 7458), DNKI described itself as a reputable humanitarian organization with a presence in over 56 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, China, and Germany. The group reaffirmed its dedication to social causes such as combating drug abuse, addressing gender inequality, and promoting environmental sustainability.
However, the organization warned that it will not tolerate acts of impersonation, defamation, or reputational damage. It disclosed ongoing collaboration with relevant security agencies to identify and prosecute those responsible for:
Impersonation and identity theft
Cyberstalking and defamation
Promotion of cultism and incitement to violence
DNKI advised all perpetrators to immediately cease such activities or face full legal consequences.
Members of the public are urged to remain vigilant, ignore unverified platforms, and refrain from engaging with misleading content. DNKI emphasized that only its official communication channels should be trusted for accurate information.
The organization reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to humanitarian service, justice, and societal development, stating that no amount of misinformation or malicious propaganda will deter it from its mission to build a safer and more equitable society.
