Malam Yusuf Idris-Gusau, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Zamfara has been arrested in Gusau yesterday.
Alhaji Bashir Ataka, the State Welfare Secretary of the party, who confirmed Idris’ arrest by the security operatives urged APC members in the state to remain calm and law abiding.
“Yes, our Publicity Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris was arrested yesterday in Gusau at his residence by some security operatives”.
According to him, Idris is now in the Police Headquarters for interrogation.
“We are now with him at the police headquarters, Gusau”, he added
Ataka, however, called on APC members in the state to remain calm and law-abiding.
