Police Arrest Suspected Armed Robbery Gang In Kebbi

In a significant breakthrough for the Kebbi State Police Command, a notorious armed robbery gang was apprehended yesterday following a well-coordinated operation led by the Quick Response Team.

The suspects were reportedly involved in a series of violent robberies across the state in recent months.

According to reports from the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Nafiu Abubakar,

the arrest was made after a prolonged investigation and surveillance operation.

The suspects, identified as members of a well-known criminal syndicate, were tracked down to their hideout in a remote area on the outskirts of Birnin Kebbi.

Upon the successful raid, the police recovered a cache of weapons, stolen items, and incriminating evidence linking the gang to multiple robbery incidents.

The arrested suspects have been taken into custody for further interrogation and will face appropriate charges in court.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Bello M. Sani, commended the officers involved in the operation for their dedication and professionalism in apprehending the dangerous criminals.

He also urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation in tackling crime.

The successful arrest of the armed robbery gang is seen as a significant victory in the ongoing efforts to enhance security and combat criminal activities in Kebbi State.
