NBTE Approves New ND, HND Programmes For FedPoly

National Board for Technical Education, NBTE, has granted approval to the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu to commence new National Diploma, ND and Higher National Diploma, HND, programmes, effective from the 2025/2026 academic session.

This approval was detailed in a letter signed by the Director of Polytechnic and Allied Programmes at NBTE, Dr Fatima Umar, which was made available to newsmen in Damaturu.

According to the letter, the new National Diploma programmes include Mass Communication, Organic Agricultural Technology, Animal Health and Production Technology, Crime Management, Common and Islamic Law, and Environmental Science and Management Technology.

Others are Forensic Science, Water Resources Engineering Technology, Cartography and GIS, Health Information Management, Pharmaceutical Technology, Public Technology and Environmental Health Technology. 

The letter also said the new HND programmes are Agricultural Extension Management, Marketing, Public Administration, Human Resources Management, Banking and Finance, Science Laboratory Technology, (Microbiology option), Cyber Security,

Software and Web Development, Networking and Cloud Computing,

Science Laboratory Technology (Chemistry option), Computer Engineering Technology.

NBTE also granted a five-year accreditation from the 2025 session to 36 existing programmess at the polytechnic.
