Egypt, however, asserted its dominance by topping the medals table with a commanding performance, winning eight gold, one silver, and three bronze medals.
Senegal, Morocco, and Niger each claimed one gold, one silver, and one bronze to jointly occupy third place. Algeria followed in fourth place with one gold medal, while Cameroon settled in fifth position after earning three silver and four bronze medals.
