Former Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Victor Ombu (rtd), and former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Chidi Nwogu, are among the newly inaugurated members of governing councils and boards of universities and parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Education.

The inauguration ceremony, presided over by the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, took place at the Podium Conference Hall of the Ministry in Abuja. The event attracted top dignitaries, government functionaries, stakeholders in the education sector, as well as friends and family members of the appointees.
