The Zinariya of Lokoja, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has extended her heartfelt condolences to Senator Smart Adeyemi over the passing of his mother, Princess Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi, describing the loss as a deeply sorrowful moment.
In a condolence message made available to AljazirahNigeria on Thursday night, Dr Aliyu expressed sadness over the news, while offering prayers and words of comfort to the grieving family.
“I received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of your dear mother, Princess Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time for you and your family.
“Though I did not have the honour of knowing her personally, I have no doubt that she was a woman of strength and virtue, whose values helped shape the principled and committed leader you are. Her legacy surely lives on through the lives she touched and the family she nurtured,” she said.
The Kogi Princess prayed that the Almighty grants the departed eternal rest and gives Senator Adeyemi and his loved ones the strength to bear the painful loss.
