Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu has extended her condolences to the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima over the loss of his mother-in-law.
Dr Aliyu, in a post she made on X, described the mother-in-law of the Vice President, Hajiya Maryam Abubakar Albishir, as a generous and faithful Muslim, adding that her selflessness has left an unforgettable impact.
She said, “I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Our beloved mother-in-law, Hajiya Maryam Abubakar Albishir. Her legacy as an exemplary and kind-hearted mother, a devoted Muslim, and a pillar of wisdom and compassion in her community will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
“Her dedication to charitable causes and her role as a source of guidance and support have left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
“Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you lay her to rest, and I join the nation in appreciating the remarkable life she lived. May Allah grant her eternal peace and give you the strength to bear this great loss.”
