FROM SAMSON ALFA, MINNA
Nigerians have been urged not to relent in prayers for the peace, unity and prosperity of the country.
The first Bishop of Methodist Diocese of Niger, Reverend Basil Pozonlin stated this in a prayer convocation organised by the state Christian Council of Nigeria, NCC, held at Methodist Church,Yoruba Road in Minna, at the weekend.
Speaking on the theme for the prayer convocation, ‘When God is Involved,’ Bishop Pozonlin said the ultimate solution of every predicament is prayer without ceasing which brings manifestation of miracles in Nigeria and Niger State.
He asked leaders to have the fear of God and be fair to the nation, as it is the only way God would be involved in its affairs.
In his welcome address, the State Chairman of CCN, Venerable Daniel Tsado appreciated Bishop Pozonlin , stating that the topic is timely.
“When we involve God in our families, churches, communities, states and our nation, we will experience changes, victory, peace and joy,” the cleric asserted.
He reminded Christians that Christ is the God of wonders, miracles and above all, a God that is always involved in the affairs of humanity from creation to the present day.
