Nimrod pays visit to CAVB headquarters

… briefs CAVB President on 2025 African Women’s Club Championship preparation

The President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa paid a working to the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) headquarters on Monday.

Nimrod who doubles as the President of the CAVB Beach Volleyball Commission met with CAVB President Mrs Bouchra Hajij and the CAVB technical department.

Nimrod revealed that discussions were focused on finalising preparations for the 2025 African Women’s Club Championship, scheduled to take place from 1st to 14th April 2025, and hosted by Nigeria Customs Services Club.

He said, “Part of the working visit was to inform the CAVB President, Mrs Bouchra Hajij on the level of preparations for the 2025 African Women’s Club Championship to be hosted by Nigeria Customs Service.

“The Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi MFR has been on top of the situation and the club are currently in camp ahead of the championship.

“With the support of the CGC, National Sports Commission and the Federal Government of Nigeria, the country will be a good host to clubs participating in the championship”.

Nimrod said the CAVB technical department reviewed the state of preparedness for the competition and explored potential areas of collaboration to ensure the success of the event.
