Senate Deputy Minority Leader, Senator Lere Oyewumi, yesterday, conveyed warm felicitations to former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola on his 74th birthday anniversary. Senator Oyewumi praised Oyinlola as an exemplary leader and a unifying figure, an accomplished leader whose contributions to Osun state development and political leadership remain remarkable and indelible.
Recognizing Prince Oyinlola’s longstanding commitment to public service through his mentorship of future leaders across Nigeria as well as his uncanny ability to galvanize diverse groups of people together to achieve common objectives in his Congratulatory Message issued and made available by his Media Unit, the lawmaker affirms that these qualities have distinguished him as a prominent leader and accomplished Elder Statesman.
“As a true Prince, he has lived up to his calling in all engagements he has been saddled with both as a top-notch military man and as a consummate politician. His impact in Lagos as a Military Administrator and in Osun as a civilian governor can never be wished away by the tide of time. Prince Oyinlola is a political icon that has recorded enviable and indelible contributions for the welfare of the masses and development of Osun state and the country at large.
“We celebrate you for dedicating the greater part of your life in service to our dear country, Nigeria. You are the epitome of honesty, dedication, and service to humanity. Your uncommon leadership and dedication to the progress of Osun State are truly commendable. We wish you a happy birthday as you mark your 74th birthday. We pray that the Almighty God will continue to uphold, keep and strengthen you to the benefit of humanity”, the lawmaker prayed.
