The Oduduwa Univeristy Ipetumodu Alumni Association, OUIAA has elected Marvelous Ayodele has its 3rd Alumni association President .
The incoming president in his speech during the zoom handing over ceremony assured of his commitment to strengthening alumni engagement and fostering growth within the community.
Ayodele who is a former student Liaison Officer stated that as a team, he will create more opportunities for career growth and mentorship .
According to him, his administration are committed towards deepening the relationship with Oduduwa University itself, ensuring that alumni, contribute to the continued success and development of the institution.
He added that by working closely with the university, this will establish stronger ties with current students, faculty, and administration, creating opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and growth that benefit both alumni and the university.
“Together, we will fosterstronger connections within our alumni network, create new opportunities for career growth and mentorship, and build an inclusive, empowered community whereevery voicematters.
“In addition, our vision extends beyond our alumni body. We are committed to deepening our relationship with Oduduwa University itself, ensuring that we, as alumni, contribute to the continued success and development of the institution.
“By working closely with the university, we will establish stronger ties with current
students, faculty, and administration, creating opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and growth that benefit both alumni and the university.
To every member of this association, this victory is yours.
“I am deeply humbled and honored to have been elected as the 3rd President of our cherished alumni association. This moment represents more than a personal achievement, it is a testament to the strength of our community and our shared commitment to moving forward together,” he noted.
The president -elect pledged lead with integrity, fairness, and a deep sense of responsibility.
The outgoing president, Quadri Olatunji during his handover affirmed his confident in the new administration I’m vision, integrity, and ability to lead forward.
He added that his capable team will build upon the foundation and take the Oduduwa University Alumni Association to unprecedented heights.
“For me, this is not a farewell but a new beginning. I am as committed as ever to serving this association and contributing to its growth and success.
“Leadership roles may change, but our dedication remains constant. I will continue to support the association, contribute my knowledge and experience, and stand as a resource for the incoming leadership,” he stated.
The event was chaired by the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Otunba Isaac Amao and graced by principal officers of the University.
The following distinguished in attendance C.N. Uche – Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mrs. Adeline Adeyemi – Registrar, Dr. Idowu Aloba – Director of Students Affairs (DSA), Mrs. O. Lawal – Bursar, Dr. A.A. Ibrahim – Director of Academic Planning (DAP), among many others.
Other executive members elected are Susan Adedini as Vice president, Akpan Francis as General Secretary, Oluwaseyi Fayinka as Assistant General Secretary, Timothy Bello as Treasurer, Olayinka Subair as Financial Secretary, Oluwatobiloba Buraimoh as Public Relations Officer, Adewunmi Victoria as Chief Press Secretary and Adeniyi Kenneth as Director of Academics.
